Under the influence of the Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Eastcentral Arabian Sea, a Low Pressure area formed over the same region last night and subsequently this morning it has further strengthened to a Well Marked Low Pressure.

 

The JTWC has issued a TCFA (Tropical Cyclone Formation Alert) for Arabian Sea 91A.INVEST

 

91A.INVEST over Eastcentral Arabian Sea Location 13.1N. &  71.4E. 30 knots with 1000 millibar Central Pressure on 8th October NRL IR Satellite Image @ 0130 UTC

 

The Low Pressure area over North Bay of Bengal with associated Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation that extends up to Mid-Tropospheric levels has now become a Well Marked Low Pressure.
