The Depression over the Bay of Bengal has intensified further to a Deep Depression located at 20.5N & 91.5E. with 996 mb. Pressure. The winds are of 55 to 65 Kms./hour gusting up to 75 Kms/hour. This Sytem is about 250 Kms. South Southwest from Chittagong, Bangla Desh and is expected to track Northeastwards at 18 Kms/hour.
Under its influence, rain/thundershower would occur over Bangla Desh and adjoining Northeastern States with isolated heavy falls particularly over Tripura, Mizoram and Manipur during next 48 hrs.
