Mainly Dry Weather For Saurashtra 1st To 7th October

Current Weather Conditions on 1st October 2011 @ 11.00 am.

Southwest Monsoon has officially withdrawn from most parts of Saurashtra. The withdrawal line passes over Saurashtra from Veraval towards Baroda meaning that Monsoon has not yet Officially withdrawn from the Coastal areas between Veraval to Bhavnagar. This can be seen from the map below and the IMD Bulletin dated 30th September 2011.

As per 30th September 2011 IMD Bulletin:

The Southwest Monsoon has further withdrawn from most parts of East Uttar Pradesh and some more parts of Madhya Pradesh. The withdrawal line of Monsoon passes through Lat. 27.0°N / Long. 84.0°E, Balia, Umaria, Jabalpur, Indore, Baroda, Veraval, Lat. 21.0°N / Long. 65.0°E and Lat. 21.0°N / Long. 60.0°E.

The weather over Saurashtra has been mainly dry with stray isolated showers/rain, but the areas getting rain is very small. The sky is partly cloudy with longer periods of Sunshine. The day temperatures have also increased. The winds are mainly from the West.

The weather over Saurashtra is expected to be mainly dry with stray isolated showers/rain over very limited area. Expect partly cloudy sky with longer periods of Sunshine during the forecast period. The day temperatures are expected to be high with cooler nights. The winds will mainly be from the West and there is no possibility of Northeast winds during the forecast period.
