Southwest Monsoon Withdraws From Most Parts of Saurashtra

Current Weather Conditions on 29th September 2011 @ 4.00 pm.

Southwest Monsoon has officially withdrawn from most parts of Saurashtra except coastal areas from Veraval to Bhavnagar as can be seen from the map below and the IMD Bulletin dated 28th September 2011.

As per 28th September 2011 IMD Bulletin:

Southwest monsoon has further withdrawn from remaining parts of East
Rajasthan, most parts of West Uttar Pradesh, some parts of East Uttar Pradesh & West Madhya Pradesh and some more parts of Gujarat state. The withdrawal line passes through Lat.28.0°N/Long.82.0°E, Bahraich, Lucknow, Jhansi, Bhopal, Indore, Baroda and Veraval, Lat. 21.0°N / Long. 65.0°E and Lat. 21.0°N / Long. 60.0°E.

Mainly dry conditions for Saurashtra with hit or miss Isolated showers near Gir or Amreli District on one or two days during the forecast period.
