Withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon is on hold since 30th September. The current status of Southwest Monsoon withdrawal is shown in map below. Officially Southwest Monsoon has not withdrawan from the Coastal areas between Veraval and Bhavnagar and South Gujarat areas South of Baroda.

The withdrawal line of monsoon continues to pass through Lat. 27.0°N / Long. 84.0°E, Balia, Umaria, Jabalpur, Indore, Baroda, Veraval, Lat. 21.0°N / Long. 65.0°E and Lat. 21.0°N / Long. 60.0°E.

Forecast: 7th to 13th October

Saurashtra:

The winds for last two days were from Northwest and are expected to change directions. By Monday the winds will be from North and then after two days from Northeast/East. The Humidity is expected to decrease from Monday and the Maximum Temperatures will increase by 2 to 3 Degrees C. Nights will be pleasant. Mainly dry conditions are expected during the forecast period.

North India:
Western disturbance will give light rainfall over parts of North India including Jammu & Kashmir on 7th and 8th October.
