The Depression over Northwest Madhya Pradesh weakened into Well Marked Low Pressure and was located over west Madhya Pradesh at 0530 hours IST of today, the 23 June 2011. The system is expected to track Northwestwards and weaken further by tomorrow.
Under its influence, East Rajasthan, West M.P. could receive medium rain to heavy rain while the adjoining areas of Gujarat cloud receive scattered light to medium rain/thundershowers during next two days.
Since the System has already weakened, and is expected to track towards East Rajasthan, Saurashtra can only expect scattered light rain/thunder till 25th June.
Southwest Monsoon has advanced over parts of Rajasthan yesterday, however, it has been stuck over Coastal Saurashtra from 13th June with no progress since then over other parts of Saurashtra.
