Heat Wave conditions have abated over Saurashtra, Kutch and Gujarat. The Maximum Temperatures at few of the Hot spots were:


Surendranagar 41.5 Degrees C.
Deesa 41.4 Degrees C.
Rajkot 40.6 Degrees C.

Rajkot Lowest Barometric Pressure was 995.8 Mb. at 6.00 pm.

Update on 98A.INVEST:

The Low Pressure in the Arabian Sea has tracked back and forth in an area of 250 Kms from 18N 70E. during the last three days. Current location is about 300 Kms. South of Saurashtra Coast and about 300 Kms. West of Konkan Coast.

Southwest monsoon has advanced over some more parts of Bay of Bengal and northeastern States.
The northern limit of monsoon (NLM) passes through 20.0°N/60.0°E, 20.0°N/70.0°E, Dahanu, Nasik, Gulbarga, Rentachintala, Narsapur, 18.0°N/85.0°E, 20.0°N/88.0°E, 22.0°N/90.0°E, Agartala, Shillong, Itanagar and 28.0°N/94.0°E.
Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon over remaining parts of Bay of Bengal and northeastern States and some parts of Orissa and West Bengal & Sikkim during next 2-3 days.
