Monsoon Watch
Southwest monsoon has further advanced in some parts of Saurashtra & Kutch and some more parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and some parts of coastal Orissa.
The northern limit of monsoon (NLM) passes through 22.0°N/60.0°E, Porbandar, Veraval, Dahanu, Nasik, Gulbarga, Rentachintala, Narsapur, Kalingapatnam, Puri, 21.0°N/88.0°E, Dhubri and Gangtok.
Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon over some more parts of Arabian Sea, south Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, east India and remaining parts of Bay of
Bengal during next 2-3 days.
