The Well Marked Low Pressure over the Bay of Bengal had strengthened further to a Depression this morning as per IMD. The current location is very close to the West Bengal Coast and the System is expected to cross over to land by early morning 17th. The winds are 45 to 55 Kms./hour gusting to 65 Kms./hour and the Central Pressure is 987 Mb.
