Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch Weather Update

Night and early-morning temperatures across Gujarat continue to remain unusually mild for this time of the year. The daytime temperatures are also on higher than normal.

Normally, minimum temperatures during early February are around 12°C in North Gujarat and Kutch, and about 13.5°C to 14°C over the rest of the state. These normal values generally rise slightly by mid-February.

However, on 7th February, minimum temperatures across most parts of Gujarat were 3°C to 5°C higher than usual, resulting in pleasant but warmer-than-normal nights and mornings.

Night Temperatures

Mild night and early morning conditions are likely to continue for most of the coming week.

During 8th–9th February and again on 13th–14th February, minimum temperatures are expected to stay noticeably above normal across most areas.
Between 10th and 12th February, nights and early morning may turn slightly cooler, with temperatures dropping by 2°C to 3°C, bringing them closer to normal levels — but yet not expected to be below normal.

Day Temperatures

Daytime temperatures are also running warmer than usual.

Maximum temperatures across Saurashtra, Gujarat and Kutch are currently 3°C to 6°C above normal.
A brief easing is possible on a few days, but overall days will continue to feel warmer than typical February conditions.

Wind Conditions

Winds will mainly blow from the north to northeast.
On a day or two, especially over Kutch and western Saurashtra, winds may shift to the northwest.
Wind speeds will generally remain light to moderate, gradually increasing as the week progresses.

Fog and Clouds

Foggy conditions are possible over Kutch on 9th February.
Denser fog may develop over Kutch and western Saurashtra on 10th February, particularly during early morning hours.
Patchy clouds are likely between 11th and 13th February, though no major weather disturbance is expected.

Overall Summary

February has so far remained warmer than usual, with no significant cold spell in sight. A short period of slightly cooler nights and cooler early mornings may occur mid-week, but mild winter conditions are expected to dominate across Gujarat.

10 થી 12 ફેબ્રુઆરી દરમિયાન રાત્રિ અને વહેલી સવારના તાપમાનમાં 2°C થી 3°C નો ઘટાડો થવાની શક્યતા છે, જેના કારણે તાપમાન નોર્મલ નજીક આવશે, પરંતુ નોર્મલ કરતાં ઓછું રહેવાની શક્યતા નથી.

દિવસ દરમિયાનનું તાપમાન પણ સામાન્ય કરતાં વધુ રહેતું જોવા મળશે.

હાલ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છમાં મહત્તમ તાપમાન 3°C થી 6°C સામાન્ય કરતાં વધુ છે.
