Current Weather Conditions On 24th May 2017

The Maximum Temperature has been in the range of 41°C to 43°C during the last few days. There has been hail storm and un-seasonal showers with windy conditions on a few days due to upper air instability.

 

Forecast for Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 24th May to 31st May 2017

 

Maximum Temperature is expected to increase during the forecast period and subsequently decrease during the end of forecast period. Maximum Temperature will be higher in Gujarat & Eastern Saurashtra and Western Saurashtra will have about 2 C lower than other areas.

Maximum Temperature forecast are:

24th & 25th May: 42°C to 44°C

26th & 27th Mat: 42°C to 45°C ( some places heat wave )

28th & 29th May: 42°C to 44°C

30th & 31st May: 40°C to 42°C

Due to a UAC at 4.5 km height above mean sea level over Southeast Bay of Bengal the Southwest Monsoon is expected to Advance by 27th May over Southeast Bay of Bengal, Southwest Bay of Bengal and East Central Bay of Bengal.
