Severe Cyclonic Storm Jal has tracked West North Westwards during the last few hours and has weakened to a Cyclonic Storm. Core of high clouds has reduced drastically and is over land though the Storm center is still over the Sea about 80 Kms from the coast at 3.30 pm.
Landfall expected near Pulicat Lake area. Distance to Landfall is 90 Kms. between 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
