The Depression over the North Bay of Bengal has crossed over Bangla Desh this morning. The Satellite image shows the System has weakened.

Dated: 11.10. 2012 Time of issue: 0800 hours IST

Sub: Depression close to Bangladesh coast.

 The depression over northeast Bay of Bengal moved northward and lay centred at 0530 hrs IST of today, the 11^th October, 2012 near latitude 22.5⁰N and longitude 91.0.⁰E, close to Hatia (Bangladesh). The system is likely to move northwards and cross Bangladesh coast near Hatia within a few hours .

Under the influence of this system, rainfall at most places with isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura , Assam and Meghalaya during next 48 hours.
