Clearer Weather Over Saurashtra

The Bay of Bengal Low Pressure area now lies over Sub-Himalayan
West Bengal & Sikkim and adjoining Bihar. The axis of the monsoon trough at mean sea level now runs close to the foothills of the
Himalayas. The off shore trough from Gujarat coast to Kerala coast persists.

There has been unexpected turn of event yesterday. After clear skies on Thursday, suddenly yesterday morning the weather changed and rain started from the coastal Saurashtra areas and subsequently by 11.00 am. rain over Rajkot. Most places over Western Saurashtra received rainfall.
