New Low Pressure Developed Over Bay Of Bengal and Orissa Vicinity

The Low Pressure area over Saurashtra, Kutch & adjoining Gujarat persists. A Low Pressure area developed today over Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Coastal areas of West Bengal and Orissa currently near Orissa and has associated UAC over the same region. The axis of monsoon trough at mean sea level passes through Center of Low Pressure area (Bhuj), Udaipur, Kota, Tikamgarh, Ambikapur, Center of Low Pressure area (near Balasore) and thence Southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal. The off shore trough from Gujarat coast to Kerala coast persists.

There has been rain over Kutch and Western Saurashtra Coast today.
