Rainfall To Decrease Over Saurashtra & Gujarat From Tomorrow The 13th

Current Weather Conditions on 12th September 2011 @ 11.00 am.

The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Southwest Rajasthan, Sindh & Kutch area persists from three four days. The Bay of Bengal Low Pressure has now reached East Rajasthan, West M.P. North Gujarat areas and vicinity. The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation associated with this Low has now merged with the earlier UAC. This merged UAC lies broadly over South Rajasthan - West M.P.- Gujarat - Saurashtra - Kutch and Arabian Sea near Coastal Saurashtra (along Veraval Dwarka Coast).

Rain has already started over Gujarat & Saurashtra yesterday the 11th September as had been forecast on 10th September.

Forecast:

Light to medium rainfall is expected over Saurashtra, South Gujarat, Central Gujarat, North Gujarat & Kutch with heavy rainfall over isolated places today the 12th September. Rainfall is expected to decrease from 13th over Saurashtra and subsequently no meaningful rainfall during 14th to 16th September for Saurashtra.

Kutch the rainfall is expected to continue till 13th.

Medium to heavy rainfall expected over Sindh during 12th to 14th.

The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation is expected to move mainly Westwards by tomorrow towards Kutch and Sindh and adjoining Arabian Sea.
