Key Highlights

• Relief from hot weather continues over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch.

• The current normal maximum temperatures are in the range of 37°C to 38°C. However, most centres are recording temperatures 1°C to 2°C below normal.

• Maximum temperatures are expected to rise towards normal and increase further during 25th–27th March 2026, possibly becoming ~2°C above normal.

• A slight drop in maximum temperatures by 1°C to 2°C is likely during 28th–29th March, accompanied by an increase in afternoon/evening humidity.

• There is a possibility of scattered unseasonal rain over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch towards the end of March. ECMWF and NOMAD GFS forecast maps will be updated regularly to monitor this evolving situation.

• Daytime temperatures are currently running below normal.

• Maximum temperatures are expected to rise and reach near normal by 24th March.

• Temperatures may further increase to around 37.5°C to 39.5°C during 25th–27th March across most parts of the region.

• A marginal fall of 1°C to 2°C is likely during 28th–29th March, along with rising humidity levels.

💨 Wind Conditions

• Winds over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat are expected to be in the range of 10–20 km/h over the next few days.

• Winds across the region are likely to strengthen around 27th–28th March, reaching 15–25 km/h, with gusts up to 35 km/h.

• The weather expected to be unstable in adjoining Regions of Gujarat State for multiple days during the forecast period.
• There is a possibility of isolated to scattered unseasonal rain over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch towards the end of March (around 29th–30th).

• હાલ નોર્મલ મહત્તમ તાપમાન 37°C થી 38°C વચ્ચે ગણાય. જોકે, મોટાભાગના કેન્દ્રોમાં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ કરતાં 1°C થી 2°C ઓછું નોંધાઈ રહ્યું છે.

• બેક દિવસમાં મહત્તમ તાપમાન નોર્મલ તરફ વધીને ત્યારબાદ 25થી 27 માર્ચ 2026 દરમિયાન નોર્મલ કરતાં આશરે 2°C વધુ થવાની શક્યતા છે.
