Monsoon Status as per IMD:

Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Konkan, Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and
Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 16°N / Long. 60°E, Lat. 16°N /
Long. 65°E, Lat. 16°N / Long. 70°E, Vengurla, Gadag, Anantapur, Nellore and Lat. 15°N / Long. 85°E, Lat. 17°N /
Long. 90°E, Lat. 20°N / Long. 91°E, Agartala, William Nagar, Kokrajhar and Lat. 27°N / Long. 90°E.

Favorable conditions are developing for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of Konkan,
Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and coastal Andhra Pradesh; some parts of Madhya Maharashtra, central  & north Bay
of Bengal, Tripura, Assam & Meghalaya and some parts of West Bengal & Sikkim during next 2­-3 days.

Other weather parameters:

The shear zone now runs roughly along Lat.16 .0°N between 3 to 4 Km above mean sea level.

The UAC near Andhra Pradesh as well another UAC over North of Andaman Islands had merged to broader UAC which has now become a Low Pressure located at Lat. 18N. & Long. 89 E. near boundary of Central & North Bay of Bengal. UAC associated with this Low Pressure extends up to Mid-Tropospheric levels tilting Southwards with height.

The red dashed line shows the normal date of onset of Southwest Monsoon over various regions.

 

Weather Forecast For Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat 9th June to 14th June 2017

Saurashra, South Gujarat & Central Gujarat expected to receive scattered showers or light to medium rain with isolated heavy rain on 2 to 4 days over different places on different days during the forecast period.

North Gujarat & Kutch expected to receive scattered showers or light rain with isolated medium rain on 2 to 3 days in different places on different days during the forecast period.

ઉત્તર ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં ઝાપટા, હળવો વરસાદ અને એકલ દોકલ મધ્યમ વરસાદ આગાહી સમય ના 2 થી 3 દિવસ અલગ અલગ જગ્યાએ અલગ અલગ દિવસે પાડવાની શક્યતા છે.

6. “મારા શહેર, કે ગામ માં વરસાદ ક્યારે થશે ?” તેવા સવાલ પૂછવા નહિ. સામાન્ય રીતે સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ ના બહોળા વિસ્તારો ની આગાહી આપેલ હોઈ છે. તમારા વિસ્તાર ના મોટા સેન્ટર માટે વંડરગ્રાઉન્ડ ની આગાહી ની લિન્ક આપેલ છે અહીં મેનુ માં.
