Yesterday evening there were thunder storms over vicinity of three cities of Saurashtra. Rajkot received 56 mm.and Gondal receieved 70 mm. and Ghogha received 55 mm.

There is an off shore monsoon trough from Gujarat coast to Kerala coast. There is also an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Arabian Sea off Maharashtra and Gujarat coasts between 2.1 to 5.8 km above mean sea level. Another Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation persists near Odisha Coast in Bay of Bengal.

Forecast: Saurashtra & South Gujarat 3rd to 7th July

Under the cumulative effect of the above scenario weather will be conducive for rain over Saurashtra and more conducive for South Gujarat.
