Heavy Rains For South India Before Declaration Of Monsoon Over Kerala

The Temperatures over Saurashtra has been below normal for the past week and winds are on the higher side. The Wind gusts have reached 45 kms. to 60 Kms. per hour during the last week.

North India has been receiving unseasonal rains. It is hampering the formation of a Heat Low over North India.

Forecast for Rajkot, Suarashtra & Gujarat: 23rd to 30th May

The Temperature over Rajkot and most parts of Saurashtra will remain normal around 39 to 41 Degrees C. during the Forecast period. The humidity has increased lately and so though the Temperature is 39 to 41 Degrees, the Real Feel Temperature is around 44 to 47 Degrees C.

Forecast for South India: 23rd to 30th May

Rainfall activity will start over Kerala and Karnataka from today with increase in intensity from 27th. Kerala will get 8 Cms. to 12 Cms while Karnataka will get heavier rainfall of 12 Cms. to 20 Cms. during the Forecast period.

Rest of India: 23rd to 30th May

North India including New Delhi will continue getting scattered showers till Sunday. Temperatures are expected to increase over North India from Monday 26th May.

North Eastern States will receive 10 Cms. to 15 Cms. of rain during the forecast period with some Isolated places getting upto 20 Cms.
