The Low Pressure area over the Bay of Bengal strengthened to a Well marked Low Pressure yesterday and has further strengthened to a Depression today located at 17.5N 84.6E about 100 Kms. South East of the Andhra Pradesh Coast. The Central Pressure is 998 Mb. and winds are about 45 to 55 Kms./Hour. The Convective clouds associated with this System are spread along the Coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh, Orissa and West Bengal. Some Clouds also along Tamilnadu Coast.
Forecast:
System is expected to track close to the Orissa Coast or even cross the Orissa Coast and move mainly along the Orissa Coast and then West Bengal Coast. Heavy rains are forecast for the Coastal Areas of Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, And West Bengal.
