Low Pressure Forms Over West Central Bay Of Bengal & Strengthens

Current weather Conditions on 28th September 2012 @ 6.00 am.

The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over the West Central Bay of Bengal extending up to Midtropospheric levels has descended  to sea level forming a Low Pressure yesterday and by evening it strengthened to a Well Marked Low Pressure currently located at 13.5N 88.5E.

Due to pulse from the Low in the Bay, an Upper air Cyclonic Circulation is expected to spring up in the Arabian Sea vicinity of Goa Karnataka Coast around 30th September.

As had been indicated earlier, the Bay of Bengal System is expected to linger for rest of September.
