The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over West M.P.- North Gujarat- South Rajasthan vicinity has tracked Westwards and is currently in the vicinity of South Rajasthan. The Barometric Pressure over Rajkot had gone down below 993 mb. yesterday evening. Convective clouds were present near Coastal Saurashtra and also West & South West of the Upper Air Ciruclation.
Rajkot has finally received heavy rainfall in two spells. First round started just before 11.00 pm. last night giving about 2.5 Cms. of rain. the second spell of rain started after 3.00 am. and till 7.00 am. it has rained 9 Cms. The rain is intermittent now.
