Monsoon 2009 Revives Over West Coast

Current weather Conditions on 6th June 2009 @ 6.00 pm.

There is a Low Pressure in the North Bay of Bengal at 19.9N 90.2E and also there is a Cyclonic Circulation near Coastal Karnataka. The South West Monsoon has revived over the Western Coast.

Forecast: Monsoon is expected to advance further in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Parts of Orissa, Goa and South Coastal Maharashtra during the next two days.

The weather in Rajkot & Saurshtra is expected to be partly cloudy and humid.

As per IMD:

Southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of central Arabian Sea, some more parts of Karnataka, remaining parts of Bay of Bengal, some parts of north coastal Andhra Pradesh and Orissa.

The northern limit of monsoon passes through Lat. 15.0° N/ Long. 60.0° E, Lat. 15.0° N/ Long. 70.0°E, Karwar, Anantapur, Ongole, Kalingapattinam, Paradip, Bankura and Gangtok.
