99W.INVEST monitored by JTWC had crossed over from Gulf of Thailand and into the South Andaman Sea on 9th November.  On 10th November 2014 @ 0000 UTC this System became a Low Pressure located at 9.1 N & 95.2 E. with 20 knots winds and 1006 Central Pressure. It tracked mainly West Northwest during the last two days and today at 0000 UTC of 12th November is located at Lat. 11.2 N & Long. 84.8 E with 20 knots winds and 1007 Central Pressure. The clouding associated with this System are mainly to the Northwest of the System Center and along the Tamilnadu coast.

Forecast: 12th to 17th November 2014

99W.INVEST ( Low Pressure ) is expected to track over Southern Peninsula and cross over into the Arabian Sea by 13th/14th.
Tamilnadu 60 mm. to 100 mm. rainfall during the forecast period mainly on 12th/14th.

South Coastal Andhra Pradesh 40 mm. to 60 mm. rainfall during the forecast period mainly on 12th/14th

Kerala 60 mm. to 100 mm. rainfall during the forecast period mainly on 13th/14th

Coastal Karataka 50 mm. to 60 mm. rainfall during the forecast period mainly on 13th/14th.

Maharashtra, Rest of Karnataka will receive light rain on various days.

 

Saurashtra & Gujarat:

This System is not expected to come towards Saurashtra or Gujarat. However, there will be clouding over parts of Saurashtra & Gujarat from 13th to 16th November with a possibility of un-seasonal showers at Isolated places on more than one day during the forecast period.

આગાહી ૧૨ થી ૧૭ નવેમ્બર ૨૦૧૪;

થાયલેન્ડ બાજુથી એક સીસ્ટમ અંદામાન ના દરિયા માં સરકી આવેલ જે મુખ્યત્વે પશ્ચિમ તરફ ગતિ કરી બંગાળ ની ખાડી માં આવેલ અને હાલ આ લો પ્રેસર  દક્ષીણ પશ્ચિમ બંગાળ ની ખાડી માં તામીલનાડુ નજીક પોન્ચેલ છે. તેને અનૂસંગિક વાદળ સમૂહો સેન્ટર થી ઊત્તર માં તેમજ તામીલનાડુ ના કાઠા ના વિસ્તાર માં ફેલાયેલ છે. આ સીસ્ટમ દક્ષીણ ભારત ઉપર થી પાસ થઇ ને અરબી સમુદ્ર માં ૧૩/૧૪ તારીખ ના સરકી આવશે.

આગાહી સમય માં તામીલનાડુ, કેરલા માં ૬૦ થી ૧૦૦ મીમી વરસાદ પડવાની શકતા છે.
આગાહી સમય માં કોસ્ટલ આંધ્ર પ્રદેશ તેમજ કોસ્ટલ કર્નાટકા માં ૪૦ થી ૬૦ મીમી વરસાદ પડવાની શકતા છે.
મહારાષ્ટ્ર તેમજ અંદરૂની કર્નાટકા માં કટકે કટકે હળવો વરસાદ પડવાની શક્યતા છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને ગુજરાત :

તારીખ ૧૩ થી ૧૬ સુધી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર તેમજ ગુજરાત માં અમૂક ભાગો માં વાદળો છવાશે. તેમજ આ સમય માં એક કે બે દિવસ કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ માવઠા ની શક્યતા છે.
