Depression Weakens To A Well Marked Low Pressure Over Central BOB – New System To Crossover From Gulf Of Thailand To Andaman Sea

Current Weather Conditions on 8th November 2014 @ 8.30 am.

 

Latest development is that 99W.INVEST is being monitored by JTWC and was last located just in the vicinity of Thailand in the Gulf of Thailand and tracking Westwards. The System will cross over Thailand and over to the Andaman Sea within 24 hours.

On 8th November 2014 @ 0000 UTC as per JTWC 05B.FIVE has winds speed of 25 knots and 1004 mb. Central Pressure located at Lat. 14.6°N & Long. 86.4°E

Forecast: 8th to 10th November 2014

IMD had downgraded the System to a Depression yesterday and as expected the System has further weakened to a Well Marked Low Pressure. JTWC has issued final warning for this System indicating rapid weakening.  This System will dissipate at sea.

99W.INVEST is expected to develop into a strong System after crossing over to the Andaman Sea and subsequently over the Bay of Bengal.
