Monsoon Watch
Southwest monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of interior Maharashtra and Karnataka, remaining Tamilnadu and some parts of Andhra Pradesh and Bay of Bengal. The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat 18.0° N/ Long. 60.0° E, Lat 18.0° N/ Long. 65.0° E, Lat 18.0° N/ Long. 70.0° E, Harnai, Bidar, Mahabubnagar, Bapatla, Lat 17.0° N/ Long. 84.0° E, Lat 20.0° N/ Long. 89.0° E, Lat 22.0° N/ Long. 90.0° E and Gangtok.
Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into remaining parts of Konkan, some more parts of interior Maharashtra, interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Bay of Bengal and some parts of Orissa and West Bengal during next 3 days.
