Weather Conditions on 26th March 2018

The Maximum Temperature has risen sharply from 24th March and a Severe Heat Wave Conditions were seen yesterday over South Coastal Saurashtra between Veraval & Porbandar where the Maximum Temperature was 8 to 9 C above normal. The Maximum Temperature was 3 to 5 C above normal at rest of the hot centers of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch.

Veraval Maximum on 25th March was 41.0 C ( 9 C above normal)
Porbandar Maximum on 25th March was 40.9 C ( 8 C above normal)
Rajkot Maximum on 25th March was 40.0 C (4 C above normal).
Amreli Maximum on 25th March was 40.0 C (3 C above normal).
Bhuj Maximum on 25th March was 40.2 C (4 C above normal).
Ahmedabad Maximum on 19th March was 39.3 C (4 C above normal).
Surat Maximum on 25th March was 40.8 C (5 C above normal).

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 26th March To 1st April 2018

Heat Wave conditions to prevail on some days of the forecast period. The Temperature will continue to remain above normal during the forecast period with Maximum Temperature over hot centers in the range of 39 C to 42 C. Maximum Temperature expected to be 3 to 7 C above normal over hot centers of the forecast regions. It will be windy during the last two three days of March 2018.
