Weather Conditions on 5th March 2018

The Maximum as well as the Minimum Temperature had increased from 27th February to 1st March when the Maximum had ranged above 38.0 C over many hot centers. The highest was 39.2 C in Surat during this period. The Maximum Temperature has declined and has now reached near normal over most [parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. There was fog today over many parts of Saurashtra and Kutch.

Rajkot Maximum of on 4th March was 34.0 C (normal) and Minimum on 5th March was 19.0 C (2 C above normal).
Ahmedabad Maximum of on 4th March was 34.4 C (normal) and Minimum on 5th March was 18.8 C (2 C above normal).
Surat Maximum of on 4th March was 35.0 C (normal) and Minimum on 5th March was 22.5 C (3 C above normal ).
Bhuj Maximum of on 4th March was 34.4 C (1 C above normal) and Minimum on 5th March was 17.6 C (1 C above normal).

Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 5th March To 11th March 2018

The Temperature will be above normal on some days and near normal or slightly above normal on other days. The Maximum Temperature will increase from 6th and will be high on 7th/8th March. Subsequently the Maximum Temperature will decrease on 9th/10th March and again start increasing from 11th March.The Maximum Temperature will range between 36 to 39 C on 7th/8th March over hot centers. The weather expected to be cloudy in some places on 7th March. Minimum Temperature will be lower on 9th March. Due to West or Northwest winds on 9th/11th March there is possibility of Foggy weather over some parts of Saurashtra & Kutch.
