There is a Western Disturbance as an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation over Afghanistan extending up to 3.1 Kms. above mean sea level with a trough aloft along 55.0°E and North of 25.0°N. Under its influence, and Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation will form over Central Pakistan & neighborhood by 20th January.

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat: 21st & 22nd January

Due to the effects of Western Disturbance approaching from Pakistan and adjoining Northeast Arabian Sea, scattered showers or scattered light rain is possible on 21st January over Kutch, Saurashtra & Gujarat. Some places could get showers on 22nd January.

North India: 20th to 26th January

Due to the effect of approaching Western Disturbance from Pakistan, all adjoining areas of North India will get rain in the plains and snowfall over the hilly regions from 20th January which will increase on 21st/22nd January. Hilly regions will continue to get snowfall till 26th January.

M.P. & U.P. will also get rain during the forecast period 22nd/23rd January.
