Temperature To Normalize Over Saurashtra By 10th December

Current Weather Conditions on 6th December 2011 @ 11.30 am.

The Maximum Temperature & Minimum Temperature over Saurashtra, Kutch And Gujarat has remained 3 to 5 Degrees above normal for past many days. The Max. Temperature at Rajkot yesterday was 33.9 at Rajkot and 34.3 at Ahmedabad both being 4 Degrees above normal while the Min. was 18.9 Degrees C. today at Rajkot and 16.8 Degrees C. at Ahmedabad both being 5 and 3 Degrees above normal respectively. Foggy conditions prevailed over many parts of Saurashtra due to mainly west and Northwest winds from the Arabian Sea. Due to heavy fog in Rajkot RingRoad Weather Station recorded 0.2 mm. rain from condensation of fog/dew in the rain collector.
Gujarat and adjoining areas were the hottest in India.

Forecast: 6th December to 12th December

The winds will change direction and will blow mainly from the North on Wednesday and Thursday and subsequently will blow from Northeast on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The Maximum Temperatures will decrease by 2 to 3 Degrees and also the Minimum Temperatures will decrease by 3 to 4 Degrees C. thereby bringing both the Temperatures to near normal over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. The humidity is expected to decrease substantially due to change in wind direction.
