The Depression over West Central Arabian Sea moved Westward, intensified into Deep Depression and lay centred at 0830 hrs IST of today, the 1ST November 2011 over Westcentral Arabian Sea near latitude 16.00N and longitude 56.00E, about 230 km East-Southeast of Salalah, Oman. The system is likely to remain quasi stationary near Oman Coast for a day or two.
This System is not expected to cause adverse weather conditions for West Coast of India. However, due to cloudy conditions over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat there is possibility of stray showers on one or two days.
