The Mid Upper Level Circulation at 700 Mb. level still exists adjoining Saurashtra. The Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation from the Bay of Bengal has now descended over land as a Low Pressure and has reached Vidarbha and adjoining M.P.- Maharashtra border area. The Axis of Monsoon has shifted Southwards from its normal position. Off-shore Monsoon trough is also active from Gulf of Cambay and adjoing Saurashtra to Kerala. Because of all the above factors Monsoon has become active over Western India.

Meaningful scattered rainfall over Saurashtra and Gujarat will occur till 8th. However, the quantum will vary at various locations of Saurashtra & Gujarat.
