The Depression over Southeast Bay of Bengal has strengthened to a Deep Depression currently lying at 8.0N Lat. & 88.5 E. Long. about 700 Kms. East from Shri Lanka Coast. The system is likely to intensify further to a Cyclinic Storm "BIJLI" by tomorrow and move in a West North Westerly direction towards north Sri Lanka and susequently towards Tamil Nadu coast during next three days. The Central pressure is 1000 Mb. and Winds are at 55 Kms./Hour with gusts upto 70 Kms./Hour
