Snowfall Over Jammu & Kashmir – Himachal To Continue

Current Weather Forecast on 14th December 2012 @ 6.00 am.

Maximum Temperature over most parts of Saurashtra have declined and are currently near normal for this time of the year. The winds are from the Northwest and West. The Minimum Temperature was expected to fall but is yet about 2 to 3 Degrees C. above normal for Rajkot with other places of Saurashtra having Minimum Temperature about 1 to 2 Degrees above normal. This is partly due to change in wind direction on 13th again from Northwest and West.

Forecast: Saurashtra 14th to 18th December

14th December: The winds will blow from the westerly direction and the morning humidity is expected to be high above 85 to 90 %. Morning Fog is expected over some parts of Saurashtra today. The Maximum Temperature is expected to be near normal.

15th-18th December: The winds will again blow from the North and Northeast during this period. The maximum Temperature is xpected to be near normal however, the Minimum Temperature is yet expected to be above normal during the forecast period.

Jammu & Kashmir and North India: Under the influence of Western Disturbance snowfall will continue over hilly regions of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and some parts of Uttarakhand till 16th wherein today would be the heaviest amount for J & K. The plains of these regions would get rain. There will be light scattered rain over some parts of Punjab, Haryana and North Rajasthan.
