The Low Pressure in the Bay of Bengal developed yesterday. It had subsequently intesified to a Depression and then futher intensified into a Deep Depression currently located about 125 kms from the Orissa Coast. It is expected to cross Orissa Coast today.
Forecast: Under the influence of this Deep Depression wide spread rainfall with scattered heavy to very heavy falls and isolated extremely heavy falls over Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Western Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal and Jharkhand.
Rainfall forecast for above States is 10 Cms to 25 Cms. with Isolated more than 25 Cms between 16th to 19th September.
Forecast Saurashtra:
Cyclonic Circulation near Saurashtra Coast and over Saurashtra exists.
Under its influence fairly widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy to very heavy falls is likely over Saurashtra today.
Rain intensity will decrease over Saurashtra. There will be scattered and lighter rains from tomorrow.
