Low Pressure In The Arabian Sea – Saurashtra Rains To Continue

Current Weather Conditions on 13th September @ 5.30 pm.

The Low pressure from the Bay of Bengal has weakened to a Cyclonic Circulations now lying over Maharashtra. A Low Pressure has developed over the Arabian Sea at 19.2N & 70.9E about 175 Kms.SOuth of Diu and 200 Kms. West of Mumbai. Under its influence, fairly widespread rain/thundershower activity is likely for Saurashtra & South & Central Gujarat and Coastal Maharashtra.

Weather Forecast for Saurashtra & Rest of Gujarat:

13th to 17th September 2008:

Whole of Saurashtra is expected to continue getting good round of rainfall till 17th September. Expected Rainfall 8 Cms. to 15 Cms. with Isolated places getting more than 15 Cms.

South Gujarat: 15 Cms. to 20 Cms. with Isolated more than 20 Cms.

Central Gujarat: 10 Cms. to 15 Cms. with Isolated more than 15 Cms.

North Gujarat: 4 Cms. to 7 Cms. with isolated more than 10 Cms.
