Temperature To Remain Near Normal To Above Normal

Current Weather Conditions on 25th February 2013 @ 11.00 am.

Due to the last Western Disturbance over North India during 22nd and 23rd February, the Temperature had declined to below normal by one to two Degrees C. Yesterday the Maximum at Rajkot was 30.7 C and the Minimum this morning was 15.0 C against the normal at Rajkot Maximum of 31 C. and Minimum of 16.0 C.
 

Forecast: 25th February to 3rd March

 
The Maximum Temperature will increase by 1 to 2 Degrees C today and tomorrow along with the Minimum Temperature tomorrow over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat. The winds will blow mainly from the North or Northeast direction during the week except from tomorrow daytime for 24 hours when it will blow from Northwesterly direction. Hence, on 27th Wednesday morning humidity will increase to 60 to 80% over most parts Saurashtra. The humidity in Junagadh District will be 75% to 80% on that day. There are no chances of fog over Saurashtra during the week except for a very small chance on 27th for some parts of Junagadh District. Maximum as well as Minimum Temperature will start an uptrend during the period 1st to 3rd March.

North India: Another Western Disturbance has approached North Pakistan today and is expected to affect North India with snowfall over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and rain over plains of these areas during 26th and 27th February.
