Arabian Sea Low Pressure Is Now Over Amreli District – Saurashtra

Current Weather Conditions on 10th November 2010 @ 1.00 pm.

Yesterday's Low Pressure area over the Arabian Sea West of Konkan Coast has tracked Northwards and by this morning it was centered near South Coastal Saurashtra. This Low has tracked further Northwards and is now over Amreli District. It lay centered near Kundla of Amreli District at 12.00 noon. Scattered rainfall has occurred at various places of Amreli, Bhavnagar & Junagadh Districts.

Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat:
In the presence this Low Pressure with associated Cyclonic Circulation at Upper Level, unseasonal widespread rainfall over all theses regions especially in Coastal areas is expected to continue till 12th November 2010. Cyclonic Circulation is expected to remain in the vicinity of Saurashtra & nearby Arabian Sea for next two days. There is a possibility of Rainfall over parts of Madhya Pradesh and South Rajasthan too. Also depending upon the final track, there is a possibility for some areas of Pakistan to receive rain.
