A Low Pressure area has developed over West Central and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts along with Associated Cyclonic Circulation extending upto 7.6 km above mean sea levels.
The Western end of Axis of Monsoon trough continues to run close to the foothills of Himalayas and Eastern end passes through Gorakhpur, Gaya, Jamshedpur and thence South-Southeastwards to the Center of Low Pressure area over West Central and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal off South Odisha and North Andhra Pradesh Coasts.

Wait for good rain will continue during the forecast period since no meaningful rainfall is forecast for Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat from 27th to 31st August. Scattered showers/light rain over parts of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat on some days. This Low Pressure is not expected to benefit Saurashtra & Kutch. Parts of Gujarat bordering West M.P. and Maharashtra has a 50% chance of getting some benefit of light/medium rain on a day or two but is yet uncertain. Maximum benefit would be for M.P. & Maharashtra. COLA/IGES maps are given for three days showing possible areas of scattered showers/rain if any.

બંગાળ ની ખાડી માં એક લો પ્રેસ્સર વિસ્તાર સર્જાયેલ છે જે દક્ષીણ ઓડીશા અને ઊત્તર આંધ્ર ના દરિયા કિનારા નજીક છે. તેના અનૂસંગિક UAC 7.6 કિમી ની ઊંચાઈ સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે.
હવે ચોમાસું ધરી નો પશ્ચિમ છેડો હિમાલય ની તળેટી માં છે અને પૂર્વ બાજુ ગોરખપુર, ગયા, જમશેદપુર, અને ત્યાંથી દક્ષીણ દક્ષીણ પૂર્વ બાજુ બંગાળ ની ખાડી ના લો પ્રેસર તરફ લંબાય છે.
પશ્ચિમ પ્રશાંત મહાસાગર માં બે વાવાઝોડા હતા તે ખતમ થયા છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં સાર્વત્રિક સારા વરસાદ ની રાહ જોવા નું ચાલુ રહેશે. તારીખ 27 થી 31 દરમ્યાન અંશત વાદળ છાયું વાતાવરણ. આગાહી સમય ગળાના અમૂક દિવસો માં કોઈ કોઈ જગ્યાએ છુટ્ટા છવાયા ઝાપટા.
આ લો પ્રેસરથી સૌરાષ્ટ્ર કોઈ ફાયદો થાય એવું લાગતું નથી. એમ પી અને મહારાષ્ટ્ર માં ફાયદો રહેશે. પશ્ચિમ એમ. પી. અને મહારાષ્ટ્ર બોર્ડેર ના લાગુ ગુજરાત વિસ્તાર ને થોડો ઘણો ફાયદો થાય તેવી 50% શક્યતા છે. જે આવતા એક બે દિવસ માં ખ્યાલ આવશે.
લો પ્રેસર બાબતે આવતા એક બે દિવસ માં વધુ ખ્યાલ આવશે કોઈ ફેર ફાર થાય છે કે નહિ.

sir, just now seen your all updates and 700 hp charts of 20th sept to 27th Sept of 2013, at that time, UAC / law pressure had emerged at odisha and came to Gujarat vai MP, in only one night, it had flooded entire saurastra …though it was time to depart monsoon from Kutch ..can we expect any rain from UAC of 2nd sept or it is going to be boon for Pakistan, sir please reply.

Today I have read in Akila that monsoon is to subside. Is it true or not?
Normally Monsoon withdraws after 1st September ever year first from Northwest India and then gradually from Kutch and Saurashtra & Gujarat by 30th September.
hence It will be at least 15 to 20 days after North West Rajasthan.
Monsoon condition will improve next few days ?
Currently not expected to improve next few days. However, Monsoon is yet not over so we should expect rain in September.
sir, is there any development of UAC in 700 hp on 3rd Sept over Gujarat, if yes, any chance to strengthen it? we are searching a ray of hope. otherwise it will be hard time for saurastra people especially Jamnagar district, we are thirsty, not seen even good rain during last two years.
On 2nd September there is UAC over Western Saurashtra (Jamnagar/Dwarka) and on 4th it goes Southwest to Arabian Sea and on 4th further away. All these charts change often and will stay valid only few days before the date.
Currently does not seem to give any meaningful rain. However, once again I am stressing that the Monsoon is not yet over.

No idea for First week of September.
The Monsoon normally withdraws first from Northwest India ( Northwest Rajasthan ) after 1st September and by 30th September from whole Saurashra, so we should not lose hope yet.
