Current Weather Conditions on 11th June 2015

On the Western side of the Arabian Sea, the Southwest monsoon has yet to set in over rest of Konkan, Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch. Normally the Southwest Monsoon sets in Over Saurashtra & South Gujarat about five days to a week after it sets in over Mumbai.

The over all weather conditions over Saurashtra, Gujarat & some parts of Kutch is conducive for pre-monsoon activity.

Forecast: 11th June to 16th June 2015

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch:

It had been earlier forecast that scattered showers/rain till 14th June even though the Cyclonic Storm “ASHOBAA” tracked away from the Saurashtra coast. The forecast for scattered rainfall/showers is being extended till 16th June. Hence it could turn out that the Pre-monsoon activity (Rain quantum) could be above normal over Saurashtra & South Gujarat.

અરબી સમુદ્ર બાજુ ના ભાગ માં દક્ષીણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસું કોંકણ ના બાકી ના ભાગ માં તેમજ, ગુજરાત, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, અને કચ્છ માં બેસવું બાકી છે. સામાન્ય રીતે મુંબઈ માં ચોમાસું બેશે ત્યાર બાદ 5 થી 7 દિવસે દક્ષીણ ગુજરાત અને સૌરાષ્ટ્ર માં બેસે છે.

હાલ વાતાવરણ સારું છે ચોમાસા પહેલા ના વરસાદ માટે

“ASHOBAA” વાવાઝોડું સૌરાષ્ટ્ર થી દૂર જતું રહયું છતાં આ પહેલા ની આગાહી માં જણાવેલ કે 14 તારીખ સુધી છુટ્ટા ઝાપટા /વરસાદ પડશે.

છુટ્ટા છવાયો વરસાદ /ઝાપટા ની આગાહી હવે 16 તારીખ સુધી લંબાવી છે. એવું પણ બને કે આ વર્ષે પ્રિ -મોન્સૂન વરસાદ (ચોમાસું વિધિવત રીતે ડીકલેર થાય ત્યાં સુધી નો વરસાદ ) ની માત્રા સામાન્ય થી વધુ રહે, ખાસ કરીને સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને દક્ષીણ ગુજરાત માં.

લીલી લીટી છે તે ચોમાસું રેખા છે. આજે દક્ષીણ ભારત ના કર્નાટક ના ઘણા ભાગ અને  તમિલનાડુ માં તેમજ રાયલસીમા ના અમૂક ભાગ માં ચોમસું બેઠું. દક્ષીણ પશ્ચિમ બંગાળની ખાડી ના બાકી રહેતા ભાગ માં પણ ચોમાસું બેસી ગયું.

 સામાન્ય રીતે ચોમાસું કઈ તારીખે ક્યાં પોંચે તે પણ દર્શાવેલ છે
