Current Meteorological features based on IMD Bulletin :

The Cyclonic Circulation over Bangladesh & West Bengal and another Cyclonic Circulation over South Odisha and neighborhood has merged to form a Low Pressure over Northwest Bay of Bengal & neighborhood. Associated Cyclonic Circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level tilting Southwestwards with height. This System is likely to become Well Marked during next 24 hours.

The Axis of Monsoon trough at mean sea level now passes through Firozepur, Kaithal, Delhi, Hardoi, Gorakhpur, Patna, Burdwan, Center of Low Pressure area over Northwest Bay of Bengal and neighborhood and thence Southeastwards to Eastcentral Bay of Bengal.

There are two Cyclonic Circulations extending up to 0.9 km above mean sea level over Eastern parts of Bihar & another over Northwest Uttar Pradesh.

Windy and Cloudy weather conditions have prevailed over Saurashtra, Kutch and Gujarat for past several days. The Humidity at 3.1 km level is low over Saurashtra. Kutch & North Gujarat and no meaningful rain has occurred during last several days.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch:   7th to 12th August 2018

Windy conditions for Saurashtra and Kutch is expected on some days of forecast period. Winds are expected to reduce marginally during 8th to 10th August. BOB System has developed today and the picture will be clear after 24 hours about the forecast track of the the System as well as the associated UAC. Current estimate is that a broad UAC circulation by 8th/9th will reach near West M.P./East Rajasthan. Due to increase in Humidity at 3.1 km level over most parts of Saurashtra, Kutch and Gujarat from 8th August on wards till 12th August, there is a chance of scattered showers/light rainfall with few pockets of medium rain over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat during the forecast period.

હાલ ની પરિસ્થિતિ અને નિચોડ: 6 ઓગસ્ટ 2018

સાયક્લોનિક સર્કુલેસન બાંગ્લા દેશ અને પશ્ચિમ બંગાળ આસપાસ હતું જે ઓડિશા આસપાસ ના સાયક્લોનિક સર્કુલેસન સાથે ભળી ગયું અને એક લો પ્રેસર થયું છે જે ઉત્તર પશ્ચિમ બંગાળ ની ખાડી પર છે. આ લો નું અનૂસંગિક યુએસી 5.8 કિમિ ની ઊંચાઈ સુધી ફેલાયેલ છે અને વધતી ઊંચાઈએ દક્ષિણ તરફ તેનું સેન્ટર ઝુકે છે.

ચોમાસુ ધરી ફિરોઝપુર, દિલ્હી, ગોરખપુર, પટના, બર્દવાન અને લો પ્રેસર નું સેન્ટર અને ત્યાંથી મધ્ય પૂર્વ બંગાળ ની ખાડી સુધી લંબાય છે.

બે યુએસી 0.75 કિમિ ની ઉંચાઈએ છે જેમાં એક યુએસી બિહાર આસપાસ અને બીજું યુએસી ઉત્તર પૂર્વ યુપી આસપાસ છે.

સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ: તારીખ 7 ઓગસ્ટ થી 12 ઓગસ્ટ 2018

છેલ્લા ઘણા દિવસ થયા સમગ્ર ગુજરાત માં પવન નું જોર વધુ હતું તેમજ વાદળ છાયું વાતાવરણ પણ હતું. ગુજરાત ના લગભગ ભાગો માં 3.1 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં ભેજ ઓછો હતો એટલે છેલ્લા ઘણા દિવસ થયા કોઈ ખાસ વરસાદ નથી થયો.

અમૂક દિવસો હજુ પવન રહેશે તો અમૂક દિવસો પવન નું જોર થોડું ઓછું થશે. બંગાળની સિસ્ટમ આજે બની છે અને તે કેમ ગતિ કરે તે 24 કલાક માં સ્પષ્ટ થશે. હાલ અનુમાન છે કે 3.1 કિમિ ના લેવલ માં યુએસી એમપી રાજસ્થાન સુધી આવે. આને હિસાબે ગુજરાત, સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ ને પણ થોડો ફાયદો મળે. 3.1 કિમિ માં ભેજ પણ અમૂક દિવસો વધે છે એટલે આશા બંધાણી છે.  હાલ સૌરાષ્ટ્ર, ગુજરાત અને કચ્છ માં છુટા છવાયા ઝાપટા, હળવો વરસાદ અને ક્યાંક મધ્યમ વરસાદ ની શક્યતા છે. હાલ ના ફોરકાસ્ટ ટ્રેક માં બહુ ફેર પડશે અપડેટ થશે.
