Current Weather Conditions on 6th June 2018

As per IMD :

Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of South Interior Karnataka, most parts of Rayalaseema, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and West Central Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of eastcentral Bay of Bengal and some more parts of northwest Bay of Bengal. The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat. 14°N/ Long. 60°E, Lat. 14°N/ Long. 70°E, Shirali, Chitradurga, Kurnool, Narsapur, Machlipatnam, Lat. 17°N/ Long. 85°E, Lat. 19°N/ Long. 90°E, Agartala, Lumding, north Lakhimpur and Lat. 29°N/ Long. 95°E. Conditions are favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Central Arabian Sea, some parts of south Konkan & Goa, remaining parts of Karnataka and Rayalaseema, some parts of Telangana, some more parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh and West Central Bay of Bengal during next 24 hours. Conditions are very likely to become favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of Maharashtra, Telangana & Coastal Andhra Pradesh in subsequent 48 hours. Conditions are also likely to become favorable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into most parts of Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Maharashtra, some parts of Gujarat, southern parts of Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, remaining parts of Northeastern states and most parts of Bay of Bengal during 09th to 11th June.

હાલ ની પરિસ્થિતિ અને નિચોડ:

દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસુ આજે અંદરૂની દક્ષિણ કર્ણાટક, રાયલસીમા થોડા વધુ ભાગો માં અને દક્ષિણ આંધ્ર પ્રદેશ ના ભાગો માં આગળ ચાલ્યું.

1.5 કિમિ ની ઊંચાઈએ એક પૂર્વ પશ્ચિમ ટ્રફ છે જે પંજાબ થી છાતીશગઢ સુધી છે (વાયા હરિયાણા, નોર્થ એમપી). આ ટ્રફ સાથે બે યુએસી 1.5 ની ઊંચાઈએ છે એક પંજાબ ઉપર અને એક છાતીશગઢ ઉપર.

મોન્સૂન ટ્રફ દક્ષિણ મહારાષ્ટ્ર થી કેરળ સુધી 0.75 કિમિ ની ઊંચાઈએ શક્રિય છે.

મધ્ય બંગાળની ખાડી અને લાગુ નોર્થ બંગાળ ની ખાડી ઉપર એક યુએસી 3.1 કિમિ ની ઊંચાઈએ છે.

એક ઇસ્ટ વેસ્ટ શિયર ઝોન છે જે 14 °N ઉપર અને 5.8 કિમિ ની ઊંચાઈએ દક્ષિણ ભારત ઉપર ( સામ સામા પવનો નો વિસ્તાર)

ચોમાસુ પવનો 6/7 તારીખ થી વધુ શક્રિય થશે. દક્ષિણ પશ્ચિમ ચોમાસુ તારીખ 6/7 માં ગોવા અને 8/9 માં મુંબઈ તેમજ 10 સુધી માં સમગ્ર કોંકણ વિસ્તાર ને આવરી લેશે જે દક્ષિણ ગુજરાત બોર્ડર સુધી આવી જશે.

Current Situation and Conclusions:

There is a UAC at 1.5 km above mean sea level over Punjab. An East-West trough runs from this UAC over Punjab to North Chhatisgarh across Haryana, North Madhya Pradesh extending up to 1.5 km above mean sea level. There is also an UAC over Chhatisgarh at 1.5 km above mean sea level.

There is an off-shore trough at 0.75 km above mean sea level and runs from South Maharashtra to Kerala.

There is an East west shear zone along 14 °N over Peninsular India at 5.8 km above mean sea level.

There is an Upper Air Cyclonic Circulation at 3.1 km above mean sea level over Central Bay fo Bengal and adjoining North Bay of Bengal.

Monsoon expected to progress over Goa by 7th and Mumbai by 9th June and whole Konkan by 10th June when it reaches South Gujarat border.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch:

Winds mainly will blow from Westerly direction. Increase in winds from 6th/7th along with more clouds. Pre-monsoon activity will continue on some days over scattered places of Saurashtra & Gujarat and gradually move Northwards to over rest of Gujarat.
