Southwest monsoon has further advanced into some parts of South Arabian sea, Maldive,
Comorin area & some more parts of Southwest Bay of Bengal. The Northern Limit of Monsoon
(NLM) passes through Lat. 7.0°N/ Long.60.0°E, Lat. 7.0°N/ Long. 70.0°E, Lat. 7.0°N / Long. 79.0°E
and Lat. 11.0°N / Long. 87.0°E, Lat. 14.0°N/ Long.90.0°E, Lat. 17.0°N/ Long. 95.0°E.
In view of Strengthening of cross equatorial flow & deepening of westerlies over South Arabian
sea and development of feeble off-shore trough along Karnataka-Kerala coast, onset of monsoon over
Kerala is very likely by 9th June 2016.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over Eastcentral Arabian Sea off Karnataka coast persists and now extends between 3.6 km to 7.6 km above mean sea level.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over Westcentral Bay of Bengal off north Andhra Pradesh & South Odisha coasts persists and now extends between 4.5 & 7.6 km above mean sea level.
A feeble off-shore trough at mean sea level runs along Karnataka-Kerala coast.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 7th June to 14th June 2016
Maximum Temperature will remain high over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch till 9th June and decrease gradually for the rest of the forecast period. Temperature is expected to be between 41 C to 44 C. over North Gujarat with some places exceeding 44 C during 7th to 9th June. The Temperature over Saurashtra will be lower than North Gujarat and could range between 40 C to 43 C with some places exceeding 43 C during 7th to 9th June. Morning humidity will be between 75 % to 85 % and the evening humidity will increase during the latter parts of the forecast period. The wind speed will be high in the evening on many days. There will be upper air instability from 10th June to 14th June which would give scattered thunder showers on few days over Gujarat and Saurashtra.

Heat Wave over Rajasthan, M.P., & parts of North India is expected to continue till 9th and Temperature will decrease from 10th June onwards. The Maximum Temperature of Hot Weather States could range from 45 C to 48 C till 9th June.
South India & Adjoining areas: 7th June to 14th June 2016
Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, Konkan expected to receive cumulative 15 Cm. to 20 Cms. rainfall during the forecast period.
Rest of Maharashtra & Rest of Karnataka expected to receive cumulative 5 Cm. to 12 Cms. rainfall during the forecast period.

I see Sea level of particular city or place mentioned at many places. What’s it ? how do it count ? What’s it for Rajkot ? and Rajkot has heavy wind as the monsoon arriving , what’s such geological sitn. of Rajkot and isn’t it always affecting rain in Rajkot ?
Rajkot is 134 Meters above mean sea level.

Sir i don’t know in past this is talked and you like to answer this or not but i want to know how accurate are Google temp. or iphone temp. or Yahoo temp. that shows on smartphones because they were showing 49-50° in Ahmedabas while it was 46°. and ur app or stickers work on what criterias and how accurate ? Also request to make your Widget for smartphones because i only believe your accuracy and forecast so whenever need to check Live temp. or rain forecast online, can blindly trust on yours. Most apps get their data from big City and then interpolate for smaller cities, towns and Villages.
My Sticker gets Data from My own Weather Station.
It is always about 2 to 3 C less than reported by IMD for Rajkot.
IMD records their Temperature at Rajkot AIRPORT with lot of hot Runway & concrete.
The actual Temperature can be considered between the two readings.
