Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch Has To Wait For Good Round Of Rainfall – Gujarat State Will Have Better Prospects For Rain 9th To 16th July

Weather Parameters mostly IMD and some other Sources:
The northern Limit of southwest monsoon (NLM) continues to pass through Lat. 26°N / Long. 70°E, Barmer, Bhilwara, Dholpur, Aligarh, Meerut, Ambala and Amritsar.
Prevailing meteorological conditions, large scale atmospheric features and the forecast wind pattern by dynamical models suggest that no favorable conditions are likely to develop for further advance of southwest monsoon into remaining parts of Rajasthan, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and Punjab during next 5-6 days. Hence, subdued rainfall activity is very likely to continue to prevail over Northwest, Central and Western parts of Peninsular India during next 5-6 days. Isolated/scattered thunderstorm activity accompanied with lightning & rainfall is also likely over these regions during this period.
There is an UAC over West Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan at 3.1 km above mean sea level.

Forecast For Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 2nd to 8th July 2021
Isolated/Scattered showers/rain on some days of the forecast period over Saurashtra & Kutch. Gujarat Region could get Isolated/Scattered showers/rain on most days of the forecast period. Winds mainly from Southwest direction with speeds of 20-30 km speed in evening time next two days. 4th to 6th Winds of 15-25 km/hour speed and again 20-30 km/hour during 7th/8th July. Scattered clouds off and on during the day.
