Current Weather Conditions on 9th January 2021
The Maximum Temperature & Minimum Temperature over Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch have remained below normal for last two weeks. However, some parts of Gujarat had Minimum Temperature near or above normal today.
The cyclonic circulation over Southeast Arabian Sea persists and now extends up to 0.9 km above mean sea level.
The trough in low level Easterlies now runs from the above Cyclonic Circulation over Southeast Arabian Sea to Northwest Madhya Pradesh across Eastcentral Arabian Sea and South Gujarat Region at 0.9 km above mean sea level.

Ahmedabad Maximum 28.1 C (normal 29 C) and Minimum 14.5 C (normal 13 C)
Rajkot Maximum 26.7 C (normal 28 C) and Minimum 10.2 C (normal 13 C)
Amreli Maximum 29.2 C (normal 29 C) and Minimum 10.6 C (normal 12 C)
Deesa Maximum 25.1 C (normal 27 C) and Minimum 13.1 C (normal 10 C)
Bhuj Maximum 24.4 C (normal 27 C) and Minimum 9.6 C (normal 10 C)
Vadodara Maximum 30.8 C (normal 29 C) and Minimum 19.8 C (normal 13 C)
Surat Maximum 29.4 C (normal 32 C) and Minimum 19.4 C (normal 15 C)
Keshod Maximum 26.4 C (normal 29 C) and Minimum 10.6 C (normal 12 C)
Forecast: Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch 10th to 17th January 2021
The Maximum & Minimum Temperature is expected to rise to near normal or above normal during 10th to 12th January & on 15th and 17th January. Some pockets of Saurashtra could have chilly weather on 13th, 14th and 16th January, while rest of the areas of Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat could have near normal Temperature. Overall the Maximum Temperature will rise by 3 to 5 C in a day or two.
