Weather Clears Over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat – Maximum Temperature Is Below Normal – Expected To Become Above Normal During Forecast Period

Current Weather Conditions on 14th March 2016

The Maximum Temperature had increased during the last week till 11th March and was 3 to 5 C above normal on 11th March 2016. Subsequently the Maximum Temperature has decreased over Saurashtra, Gujarat or Kutch on 12th/13th March as had been forecast on 7th March 2016. Due to the effects of Western Disturbance there were stray showers over Saurashtra & Kutch on 13th March. The Western Disturbance is now moving away Eastwards.

Forecast:

A New Western Disturbance is expected to affect Jammu & Kashmir & Himachal Pradesh & Adjoining areas  on 17th March till 20th March 2016.

Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch: 14th March to 20th March 2016

Maximum & Minimum Temperature will again start to increase incrementally  and initially will become near normal and subsequently during the forecast period they will become 2 to 3 C above normal at most places of Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch.  The forecast Western Disturbance of 17th to 20th March is not expected to affect Saurashtra, Gujarat & Kutch.
