There is a severe cold spell over Saurashtra, Kutch & Gujarat today. The Minimum Temperatures over most of the places are 4 to 6 Degrees below normal and the Maximum Temperatures are also 4 to 5 Degrees below normal. Rajkot had Max. of 25.1 C yesterday which was 5 C below normal. Similarly the Minimum at Rajkot this morning was 6.3 C which was 6 C. below normal. Minimum Temperatures in Kutch at some places are Naliya 1 C. Kandla Airport 4 C., Bhuj 6 C., Kandla Port 9 C.

Forecast: 9th to 13th February for Umiyadham Sidsar
Cold weather will prevail on the First day of Shree Umiya Mataji Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav. Subsequently the Maximum as well as Minimum Temperatures are expected to increase daily by 1 to 2 Degrees C. from 10 C. or so Minimum to 16/17 Degrees C. by Monday and the Maximum will rise from 24/25 C. to 30/31 C. by Monday. Overall except for the First Day 9th February, the rest of the four days of Mahotsav weather will be good.
