India Wide Heat Wave From 15th-19 May

Current Weather Conditions on 13th May 2009 @ 1.30 pm.

For the last three four days the Temperature over Saurashtra & Gujarat has been near normal.Currently, humidity is adding to the very high Hesat Index in Rajkot. It is uncomfortable because of humidity. The Maximum Temperatures in Rajkot has been in the range of 40 to 41.5 degrees C. . Heat Wave prevails over small pockets of Rajasthan, Vidarbha, North Andhra Pradesh and North Gujarat.

Weather Forecast for Rajkot, Saurashtra & Gujarat:

The Temperatures are expected to rise by 1 to 3 Degrees from today for Surendranagr, Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Banaskantha & Patan Districts. The Maximum Temperatures in these Districts is expected be between 43 to 45 Degrees C. Rajkot is on the boundry of Heat wave so Maximum Temperature will be between 41 to 43 till 19th.

Weather Forecast for Rest of India:

Heat Wave conditions will spread to many States of India starting from Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh initially between 13th to 14th May. From 15th May the number of States and area will gradually increase apart from the above States to cover other States of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhatishgarh along with Small isolated pockets of neighbouring States.
The Maximum Temperatures are expected to be between 44 to 47 Degrees C. with Isolated places reaching nearly 48 to 49 Degrees C.
