Deep Depression In Bay Of Bengal To Strengthen To Tropical Storm "NARGIS"

Tropical Cyclone 01B.NONAME/Deep Depression Will Be upgraded to Named Tropical Storm "NARGIS"

Current Conditions on 28th April 2008 at 9.30 am.

As per RSMC/IMD there is a Deep Depression in the Bay of Bengal and it is likely strengthen further. On attaining Tropical Cyclone Status it will named Tropical Storm "NARGIS" making it the First named Tropical Cyclone of the North Indian Cyclone Season 2008.

Current Status RSMC/IMD Deep Depression with winds upto 60 Kms./Hour on 3 Minutes Average.

Location 12.8N 85.5E (about 600 Kms.East of Chennai)
